San Miguel versus Meralco recap

San Miguel defeated Meralco

In the second quarter, the Beermen scored 42 points thanks to the hot hands of Jericho Cruz, Marcio Lassiter, and import Devon Scott. This allowed them to break away from the competition early on.

At the halftime break, San Miguel had a 70-50 advantage over its opponent, and the team proceeded to cruise to its fourth consecutive victory to conclude the eliminations with a 7-5 record.

The Beermen finished in the fifth spot, which means they will play the fourth-seeded Converge FiberXers in a best-of-three series when they meet off in the quarterfinals.

The last day of the eliminations was also the day when the Beermen showed off their comebacking Terrence Romeo. Romeo was eventually reactivated for the very first time this season.
